The short version: we collect what we need to run the site and membership - your email if you subscribe, booking details if you book a call, and analytics/advertising data only if you accept cookies. We never sell your data. Full detail below, and your rights are always yours.

1. Who we are

Crypto Consultancy Glasgow Limited, trading as Certified Crypto and Crypto Glasgow, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, is the data controller for this website (ccgla.co.uk). Contact: hello@ccgla.co.uk.

2. What we collect and why

Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address, when you subscribe. Used to send you our updates. Lawful basis: consent - unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email. Processed by Kit, our email platform.
Consultancy bookings. The details you provide when booking a call (name, email, and your answers to the booking questions). Used to prepare for and hold your call. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract. Processed by Calendly.
Membership purchases. Purchases happen on Whop, not this site. Whop and its payment providers (such as Stripe) process your payment and account data as described in their own privacy policies. We receive membership status information needed to run the community.
Analytics and advertising. With your consent via our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the Meta pixel to measure our advertising. Lawful basis: consent - you can decline or withdraw it anytime via the cookie settings.
Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it.

3. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta pixel) are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. Embedded services (like the Calendly booking widget) may set their own cookies when you use them.

4. Who we share data with

Trusted processors who help us run things: Kit (email), Calendly (bookings), Netlify (website hosting), Google (analytics), Meta (advertising measurement), and Whop/Discord for membership and community. We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK (for example in the US). Where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep data

Newsletter data until you unsubscribe; booking correspondence for up to 2 years after our last contact; purchase-related records as long as tax and company law require (typically 6 years); analytics data per the retention settings of those tools.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@ccgla.co.uk and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Children

This website and our services are not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact hello@ccgla.co.uk and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes here with a new "last updated" date, and flag significant changes on the site.
